Secrets of Olympia is a hands-on activity for learning how to jump higher, make an efficient sprint start and throw further.


  • Basic motor skills (jumping, throwing, running) 
  • Knowledge of physical activity biomechanics 


The activity relies on playful experimentation to introduce kids to simple and accessible techniques used by many athletes while giving them an opportunity to practice their basic motor skills.

Required material(s)

  • Wall 
  • Chalk or Cones 
  • Balloons or balls (basketballs, tennis balls, baseballs, etc.)
