Description
This tool from the PAUSE Challenge – Summer camps activity kit invites you to create a poster, a drawing, or a comic book on the theme of screens with your children. Let your kids decide on the teams of their choice and ask them to let their imaginations run wild. The objective of their creation will be to do prevention with the other young people in the camp.
For those who make a poster, ask them to think of things that they find are important to popularize about screen consumption.
For those who create a comic book, suggest that they invent a playful scenario for example, the story of a character addicted to screens, a world where screens have taken control or any other universe that inspires them!
Goal(s)
This activity allows young people to express themselves about their consumption of screens. By creating their own poster or comic book in teams, they are led to discuss among themselves the precautions to be taken with screens. Their creations are then used as prevention with the other young people in the camp.
Tips and tricks
Don’t hesitate to spread your project over several days or periods so that your young people really have time to create something that represents them. When their project is finished, you can organize a period of presentations of the comics or posters to younger groups to raise awareness!
